His work on Drilling Down, as well as being a field investigator on Beyond Oak Island have made him an official member of the "Fellowship Of The Dig". Known worldwide as the "Head Acorn", Matty is dedicated to telling the incredible story of the world's longest running treasure hunt. Matty can also be seen hosting The Secret Of Skinwalker Ranch: Behind The Gates showcasing his decades of experience in the paranormal field.

Since childhood, Matty had an insatiable curiosity about the ethereal, spiritual and mysteries of all kinds. As he recently said in an interview:
